Dr. Amit graduated from Ganesh Shankar Vidhyarthi Memorial Medical College, University of Kanpur in year 2000. He got Gold Medal for performing extraordinarily well in subjects. He underwent specialist training in orthopaedics from Motilal Nehru medical college, Allahabad in year 2005. He worked as a Specialist Registrar from University College of Medical Sciences and Affiliated Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi and he performed all kind of Trauma and Cold orthopaedic surgery independently.
He subsequently spent two years as Fellow in Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy from prestigious Delhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedics and Sant Parmanand Hospital, New Delhi under able guidance of Dr. Shekhar Aggarwal (Mch - Liverpool, UK).
His field of interests are Hip and Knee surgery, including Total Knee and Hip Replacement, Partial Knee Replacement, Arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) of Shoulder and Knee and Revision (redo) Joint Replacements of Hip & Knee.
